The Global Vitiligo Foundation (GVF) invites nominations for the GVF Board of Directors. Board member competencies and responsibilities can be reviewed here.

Nominees are not limited to individuals working in North America. Nominations of people with vitiligo and people living outside of North America are particularly encouraged. Self-nominations are accepted and are encouraged. Anyone under 18 years of age will not be considered for board candidacy.

Nominated individuals must have a healthy working knowledge of English in writing and spoken forms.

  • As part of the GVF strategic plan created in December of 2019, GVF Board of Directors has created a Nominations Committee and is opening a call for nominations.
  • The GVF Nominations Committee will receive and review all nominations, assess the skills of each person, and recommend candidates to fill the open positions on the Board based on the Board’s analysis of current and future needs, including Board growth, skill sets, representation and mission-related initiatives.
  • Final selections among the candidates will be determined by a vote of the entire GVF Board prior to the Annual Scientific Symposium, March 17, 2022.
