We are pleased to feature the research of Thierry Passeron, MD, PhD, Professor and Chair, Department of Dermatology, Université Côte d’Azur in Nice, France. Dr. Passeron was one of the distinguished invited speakers at the recent Vitiligo International Symposium 2021, who presented his research, titled, “Oral Gliadin-Protected Superoxide Dismutase in Addition to Phototherapy for Treating Non-segmental Vitiligo: A 24-Week Prospective Randomized Placebo-Controlled Study.” The summary of this work concludes that the use of GP-SOD combined with NB-UVB could be a useful add-on in the treatment of vitiligo patients with excellent tolerability and safety.
