Andre is a PhD Student, Counselor Education & Supervision at Northern Illinois University, and serves as a Mental Health Counselor/DASA Coordinator, Taking Control Counseling.
As part of the Vitiligo Community Update at the 2021 GVF Annual Scientific Symposium earlier this year, Andre shared his insights about how vitiligo impacts the individual, including issues around loss of identity and navigating through the 5 stages of grief.
